Challenge

Revamping a website is a big job. And creating new, up-to-date content for that website can be a daunting task.

Tourism Sarnia-Lambton wanted to get their stories out to people who haven’t yet visited and to people who have, but to show

them what is new.

Video Objectives

Show the vibrant events and community spirit, beautiful beaches and blue water that visitors to the Sarnia-Lambton area can

enjoy.

The annual Sarnia Canada Day Celebration shows what the Sarnia community is all about. Hundreds of volunteers work together

to produce one of Ontario’s best Canada Day events – it won the Festivals and Events Ontario award for top 100 events in 2011.

The Canada Celebrates event in Sarnia is kicked off with a parade that has become a community tradition. Residents build their

weekend around it with barbecues for family and friends, followed by a day at the beach and an evening at the concerts and

fireworks.

Results

The film captured people of all ages enjoying a variety of Canada Day events, and shows potential visitors why Sarnia's

Canada Day is one of the best.
